The majority of Vietnamese people were refugees from North Vietnam and first came to the UK after the reunification in 1975. A total of 22,577 refugees from South East Asia made their home in Britain from 1975 until 1988. It estimated that at least 75% of the refugees were ethnically Chinese. It aims to ensure that people affected by Welfare reform are supported through the anticipated, and receive the advice they need to minimize the impact of these reforms, individuals can seek advice on benefit entitlements, completing applications and challenging refusals.
